The International Friendship Day.

In friendship day, the friends all over the world meet each other and celebrate this day. One friend congratulate another friend by telling "Happy Friendship Day". In some countries presents friendship belt to each other. Giving sms through cell phone.

I also congratulating all of my friends "Happy Friendship Day".

There is some quote i am writing here about friendship

* True friends are like mornings, that you can not have them the whole day, but your can be sure, they will be there when your wake up tomorrow, next month, next year and forever.
* As long as we have memories, yesterday remains; as long as we have hope, tomorrow awaits; as long as we have friendship, each day will never waste.
* Friendship isn't how you forget but how you forgive, not how you listen but how you understand, not what you see but how you feel and not how you let go but how you hold on.
* A friend gives hope when life is low, a Friend is a place when you have nowhere to go, a friend is honest, a friend is true.

I think that everybody can be a friend of everyone, there is not any kind of limitation just depends on the mentality of each person. What you think? Please comment and send me some beautiful quote.

Love what is love

Some one please tell me what is love.
I am trying so hard to know about the definition of Love.

Some are told Love means Lost of valuable energy.
Some are told Love means L - Love with all the heart, O - Overcome problems together, V - Value every thing you share, E - Encourage each other.
Some are told Love means Love is not how long you have been together, not how much you have given or receive, hot how many times you have helped each other, its how you value each other.

So, what do you think.
Please comment about love.

History of May Day the Labour Day

May 1st, International Workers' Day, commemorates the historic struggle of working people throughout the world and is recognized in every country except the United States, Canada, and South Africa.
This despite the fact that the holiday began in the 1880's in the United States, with the fight for an eight-hour work day.
In 1884, the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions passed a resolution stating that eight hours would constitute a legal day's work from and after May 1, 1886. The resolution called for a general strike to achieve the goal, since legislative methods had already failed. With workers being forced to work ten, twelve and fourteen hours a day, rank-and-file support for the eight-hour movement grew rapidly, despite the indifference and hostility of many union leaders. By April 1886, 250,000 workers were involved in the May Day movement.

The heart of the movement was in Chicago, organized primarily by the anarchist International Working People's Association. Businesses and the state were terrified by the increasingly revolutionary character of the movement and prepared accordingly.
The police and militia were increased in size and received new and powerful weapons financed by local business leaders. Chicago's Commercial Club purchased a $2000 machine gun for the Illinois National Guard to be used against strikers. Nevertheless, by May 1st, the movement had already won gains for many Chicago clothing cutters, shoemakers, and packing-house workers. But on May 3, 1886, police fired into a crowd of strikers at the McCormick Reaper Works Factory, killing four and wounding many. Anarchists called for a mass meeting the next day in Haymarket Square to protest the brutality.

The meeting proceeded without incident, and by the time the last speaker was on the platform, the rainy gathering was already breaking up, with only a few hundred people remaining. It was then that 180 cops marched into the square and ordered the meeting to disperse. As the speakers climbed down from the platform, a bomb was thrown at the police, killing one and injuring seventy. Police responded by firing into the crowd, killing one worker and injuring many others.

Although it was never determined who threw the bomb, the incident was used as an excuse to attack the entire Left and labor movement. Police ransacked the homes and offices of suspected radicals and hundreds were arrested without charge. Anarchists in particular were harassed, and eight of Chicago's most active were charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with the Haymarket bombing. A kangaroo court found all eight guilty, despite a lack of evidence connecting any of them to the bomb-thrower (only one was even present at the meeting, and he was on the speakers' platform) and they were sentenced to die. Albert Parsons, August Spies, Adolf Fischer, and George Engel were hanged on November 11, 1887. Louis Lingg committed suicide in prison, The remaining three were finally pardoned in 1893.

It is not surprising that the state, business leaders, mainstream union officials, and the media would want to hide the true history of May Day, portraying it as a holiday celebrated only in Moscow's Red Square. In its attempt to erase the history and significance of May Day, the United States government declared May 1st to be "Law Day", and gave us instead Labor Day--a holiday devoid of any historical significance other than its importance as a day to swill beer and sit in traffic jams.

Nevertheless, rather than suppressing labor and radical movements, the events of 1886 and the execution of the Chicago anarchists actually mobilized many generations of radicals. Emma Goldman, a young immigrant at the time, later pointed to the Haymarket affair as her political birth. Lucy Parsons, widow of Albert Parsons, called upon the poor to direct their anger toward those responsible--the rich. Instead of disappearing, the anarchist .movement only grew in the wake of Haymarket, spawning other radical movements and organizations, including the Industrial Workers of the World.

By covering up the history of May Day, the state, business, mainstream unions and the media have covered up an entire legacy of dissent in this country. They are terrified of what a similarly militant and organized movement could accomplish today, and they suppress the seeds of such organization whenever and wherever they can. As workers, we must recognize and commemorate May Day not only for it's historical significance but also as a time to organize around issues of vital importance to working-class people today.

As songwriter Joe Hill wrote in one of his most powerful songs:

Workers of the world, awaken!
Rise in all your splendid might
Take the wealth that you are making,
It belongs to you by right.
No one will for bread be cryingWe'll have freedom,
love and health,
When the grand red flag is flyingIn the Workers' Commonwealth.

Pohela Baishakh

Suvo Bangla Nobo Borsho! Suvo Bangla Nobo Borsho!

April 14, 2007 will the Happy Bangla New Year.

There is different way we are celebrating the English New Year and Bangla New Year.

In English new year we dressed like western people (which is not our culture)* we gather on the hotel bar, road and some other place and we wait from December 31 evening time to till mid night for the next English new year. After 12.00 pm of December 31 we just shout to celebrate the new year, one person give some messages to another, drinks in hotel bar and we are try to be an western people but we never be. Most important think is that all of Bangladeshi people do not cecebrate the English new year

In Bangla new year all of the people of Bangladesh celebrate the Bangla new year. Every people of Bangladesh celebrate this day with a great joy! All of the male person ware our traditional dress Panjabi, Payjama which contains various colors. female person ware our traditional dress Sharee contain various colors. And all the people of Bangladesh try to celebrate this day by eating Panta with Elish.

Sutorang: Suvo Bangla Nobo Borsho Sobaike

I also hope that each and every people of my country Bangladesh will be all right for the rest of his life. I also pray to almighty Allah to bless us.

People of our society.

The people of our society. Do we know how we appear with the other people. Every people our society has a great "Allness Fallacy".

We can see one girl fall on the road because of her sickness but one boy can not take her to the Doctor or Hospital cause another people of our society will ask this "Why this boy touch this girl" And that guy will go to the boy's house to tell his father and mother that your boy is breaking the rule of our religion or society. Also he/she will ask judgement for this.

We can see someone fall on the road because of his/her sickness but we can not do anything cause he/she is not well dressed. He/she could have died but can not touch or take him/her cause every people of our country will tell us that sick guy is a buster ed why you touch him/her, you are not belongs to the society anymore.

Some people of our country ride on local transport to go their office or home and so on. After get the transport they just shouting that go driver go, you are too slow, next transport is overtake you already, why you stand their to take passengers and shouted with the conductor, driver for silly matter. My question to them why?

Some people of our country change their behavior with change of the peoples outlook means dress up. Once i am going through by bus from farmgate to tongi, i get a sit on the bus and one little boy (not well dressed and look like sick) standing beside me, after i see that boy i told him to sit down and i stand. That boy was just sit another well dressed person came and shout that boy "why you sitting here stand up". Then i protest him that i let him sit. Is that the gentle man behaviour?

A boy and a girl can not talk with each other in front of anyone whatever they are so matured or not, whatever relationship between them. Our so called society called those boy's & girl's bad. Why?

Our so called society do not allow the women for work. On the other hand nobody will help that women even she is dyeing for food. Why?

If a girl grab hand of a boy in front anyone of our so called society, the people of our so called family will tell another person that they are doing bad things in the society but they never want to know that why that girl or boy grap each other. One of them can be sick or something alse.

I personally think this type of behavior will damages our society much.
